Apply for a GREAT Scholarship at the University of Manchester
About Scholarship In University of Manchester
In collaboration with the British Council and the GREAT Britain campaign, the University of Manchester provides five scholarships to students from Bangladesh, Ghana, Greece, Mexico and Nigeria applying for one-year Master's degree programs and intending to enroll in the academic year 2024/25.
The GREAT Scholarships 2024 Scholarship Program, launched by the British Council in collaboration with 72 universities in the UK, aims to support graduate students to access high-level educational opportunities in the UK.
The scholarship program provides financial support for at least £10,000 to students studying for one-year Master's degree programs in the UK. Students can apply for courses in various subjects at 72 institutions in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The University of Manchester presents the 2024-25 GRAND National University Fellows, each of whom is valued at at least 10,000 pounds.
These scholarships are available to students from:
- - Bangladesh*
- - Ghana*
- - Greece
- - Mexico
- - Nigeria
For Bangladesh and Ghana, scholarships are available for all full Master's degree programs, with the exception of the specified exceptions.
For the Grahams, the fellows are intended for all members of the Alliance Manchester Business School program.
For Mexico, fellows are presented for all programs of the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures.
For Nigeria, the fellows master all the programs of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and Biology, Medicine and Healthcare related to science and technology.
* MBA, MPhil, MEnt, Master of Architecture (March), Architecture and Urbanism (Master) and Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Postgraduate certificate (PGCE), as well as work experience in the field of clinical medicine and computer science, unrelated to the right to receive a scholarship. Applicants for the following Master's degree programs in Research will also not be considered:

- Master in Corrosion and Protection Research
- Master's Degree in Metal Materials Research
- Master's Degree in Textile Design, Fashion and Management Studies
- Master's Degree in Condensed Matter Physics Research
- Master's Degree in Soft Matter and Liquid Crystal Physics Research
- Master's Degree in Research Nuclear Physics
- Master's degree in Research Physics of Elementary Particles
- Master's degree in Physics of Liquids and Soft Materials
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
- Master in Catalysis and Porous Materials
- Master's Degree in Materials for Research
- Master in Fashion Management and Marketing
- Master's Degree in Nanotechnology and Functional Materials
- Master of Environmental Sciences
- Master of Science in Textiles and Clothing
- Master of Science in Ecology and Evolution
Application Process
The application process will commence for eligible offer-holders starting December 2023. The International Office will dispatch a scholarship application form to all pertinent offer-holders via email.
Application Closing Date
